Description
Brilliance Layering System polarizes light to enhance color. It stops unwanted gray color and emits white light. You apply Brilliance after the first opaque layer when building PFM crown and bridge. It is a white light illuminator that reflects 95-98% of the light entering the crown. Without the Brilliance, white alloys absorb 20% of the light that enters which lessens the illumination of the ceramics. Brilliance does not impart any color, but it neutralizes color. You can decrease the thickness of the 2nd opaque layer. Brilliance also increases the porcelain fracture resistance. It enhances and aesthetically standardizes all alloys. Brilliance amazingly makes porcelain to metal appear to be all porcelain. Some technicians like to apply the Brilliance to knife edge margins as this will eliminate the unsightly gray-like appearance.
Talladium does not recommend using on High Palladium alloys
